In March of this year, another application of Hardwire’s advanced HDX armor was launched for the U.K. Ministry of Defence on the International® MXT™ platform. These vehicles were procured through the U.K.’s Tactical Support Vehicle (TSV) program.

Hardwire designed and is providing the Dyneema®-based composite armor for this UK-based patrol vehicle, called the Husky. This vehicle is specially designed to meet the urgent operational requirements in Afghanistan, with improved mobility and lighter weight, but with added protection against ballistics fire, IED’s, and mines.
